You don't photograph this frog - you earn it. Deep in the Ecuadorian rainforest, these tiger-striped tree frogs move with such grace and intent that every frame demands patience. This one had climbed to eye level and froze just long enough to give me the perfect tension: one leg suspended midair, the other coiled with energy. It’s their bold contrast with those orange limbs and vertical stripes against the dark jungle that makes them so magnetic through a lens. There’s an uncanny intelligence in those pale eyes, a sense that they know you're watching. I love working in low light here, where the deep greens and shadows wrap around the subject. The frog became both creature and composition, balanced between motion and stillness, purpose and chance.
