STORY

As the sun dipped below the horizon in the Maasai Mara, Kenya, I witnessed a moment of pure harmony with three elephants, spanning generations, drinking together in perfect unison. Their movements were slow and deliberate, their bond unmistakable. At the water’s edge, the stillness of the evening echoed the calm rhythm of the herd, a rare serenity that settled over the landscape.

Capturing this scene in black and white felt instinctive. The fading light cast deep shadows that brought out the intricate textures of their skin, the graceful arcs of their trunks, and the subtle ripples spreading beneath them.
