I shot this frame from a chase vessel just as the clouds began to swallow the last sliver of light. The wind snapped the sail into an elegant arc, propelling the yacht forward as the ocean shifted beneath her. There’s something cinematic about this kind of solitude with the crew, the boat, and the brooding sea, all moving as one. I was drawn to the contrast between the fierce stillness of the water and the movement etched across the sky.
